 2011 ATP Kremlin Cup underway in Moscow

The 22nd annual Kremlin Cup is onging in Moscow this week, featuring Russia's top players along with several other international stars all vying for a top prize of $1.5 million. 

The tournament is a men's and women's event, with the women's side bound to produce exciting play as players are fighting for not only the top prize and trophy, but for the last remaining spot in the season ending WTA Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Women's side will feature several strong players, including Francesca Schiavone of Italy, Marion Bartoli of France, Vera Zvonareva and Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia, along with others. In the men's bracket all the top ranked Russian players will be playing except for Mikhail Youzhny. The two top seeded players on the men's side are Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki both of Serbia.

The Kremlin Cup will continue all week long with the championship match ending the tournament on Oct. 23rd!
