Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana on in Moscow

Moscow recently held the world premiere of Zarkana, the newest Cirque du Soleil production, which will be on in Moscow from now through April 8th 2012.

The world famous Canadian circus is very popular in Russia and has many Russians working in their shows all over there world in various roles such as coaches, artistic directors, show managers, performers and athletes.

The Zarkana show is an acrobatic rock opera that brings together the arts of the circus with the surreal. The story is about a magician who has lost his power and the love of his life, Zark. The show is set in an abandoned theatre full of "a motley collection of off the wall characters and incomparable acrobats." 

The show will be in Moscow until the 8th of April and ticket prices range from 1,800 to 6,000 rub. ($60 - $200).
