St. Petersburg Hosts Aquabike Cup on the Neva River

It's hard to imagine jet skis racing around the Neva River in such an urban setting at the city center of St. Petersburg, but last weekend that's exactly what was going on in front of the Peter and Paul Fortress.

St. Petersburg first hosted one of the rounds of the European aquabike championships back in 1998 and has continued to do so ever since.

City residents and tourists were treated to races and stunts on the jet skis just across from the world famous Hermitage musuem.
