Sand Sculptures back on the beach at Peter and Paul Fortress!

The XI International Sand Sculpture Festival is back on the beach at the Peter and Paul Fortress for the city to see some of the worlds best sculptures produce magnificent creations from sand.

The annual event held on the beach of the Peter and Paul Fortress has gotten bigger and bigger each year, with this year over 60 world recognized sculptors participating in the event. Many more worldwide who have shown interest in being a part of the event, which is included in the list of European chamionships of sand sculptures.

The event was intended for children's pleasure, but it is no doubt an event for all ages. The festival also includes a contest for children, master classes and other charity and social events.

The exhibition will be on display until the end of August, closing on Aug. 31st. So hurry down and enjoy the last month of St. Petersburg wonderful summer.
