The Iron Curtian opens with exhibition dipicting Soviet fashion!

Currently there is an exhibition in Moscow showing what the top class of society wore during the USSR. The collection consists of Soviet celebrities' wardrobes from the days of the Soviet Union.

Soviet fashion is a unique in the fact that it deveoped very unaturally and the country was closed off to the west, however fashion trends nonetheless followed those of the west. The USSR still had its own fashion and style stars of TV and stage.

The exhibition comprises over a thousand pieces, including costumes, shoes, accessories, Soviet perfume, pictures from magazines and photos of Soviet celebrities. The display focuses on the development of fashion through the Soviet Union from the 1920s to the 1990s.

The display can been seen in Moscow at Tsaritsyno up until June 12th
